I just got mine in nov. '08. it was accurate right out of the box. i now have shot about 100 rounds through it, no problems at all, and it will easily hit the target at 200 yards very accurately. this is probably no surprise to anybody who shoots much but i am kind of rookie and am really enjoying my new .308. also i must say that i was recommended this rifle from my friend who is also a cop.

Great rifle. Follow the 200 round break-in instructions. This rifle is deserving of great optics, so don't skimp on that, either. One serious draw back is the magazine is not standard (i.e. will not fit M-14). So, the price of the mags is pretty high at around $40 - 45 bucks a pop.
Rfile seems agreeable to most any .308 ammo, but instruction manual warns against certain types of ammo. If you have a stockpile of laquered .308 rounds to shoot then this rifle is probably not for you.
Also, would recommend the version of this rifle that has telescoping stock.
